Factory - Milk powder production

The Isigny-Sainte-Mère cooperative, located in Isigny-sur-Mer, produces 42,000 tonnes of infant milk powder per year. It is a growing market, which requires the construction of a third production unit on the site. This new building will be able to produce around four tonnes of powder per hour.

We are participating in the construction of this third production unit for our customer Eiffage Construction. The particularity of this project is in the use of the brand new Altrad Formwork & Shoring tower : the ALTRALIGHT. Altradal and Staflex tower were also used for this project.

Lighter but as robust as its sister the HD 320 tower, it allows assembly and dismantling in a complete safety. A total of ten workers are on site to ensure the proper installation of this new product. The site is divided into 2 parts for our teams :

• 1st part : Formwork of slabs with Altradal for the crawl space at a height of 1m70 (tool of 1200 m²).
• Part 2 : Cast-in-place slab formwork with Altralight.

A total of 210 tons of equipment are present on the site and the thicknesses of the floors are 20 to 45 cm.
